The world seems to be getting smaller. Who knew there were going to be 7 billion people and growing just after the 21st Century? In many ways, we seem to be getting pretty crowded. Everyone needs that little bit of solitude and free space to feel whole again, to recharge. The relaxtation of nature is what allows the human mind to refocus. But not everyone knows where to look to find this kind of peace and quiet. Not everyone knows where to look. The idea of dude ranches may seem bizarre, but don’t debunk them yet. At such a ranch, you get away from the hustle and bustle of the city or crowded suburbs, and have wide open spaces. You get time on your own and good food! From horseback riding to long walks, the ranches have it all. Sure, it’s not conventional, but it’s fun. The ranches give you everything you need. From exercise to free time, they have it all. People need breaks form their jobs and chores. People are more stressed these days, and should do something about it.
You may be wondering where in the world can you even find a dude ranch, if you’ve never run across one in your life? But not to worry, because this is the United States, where cowboys and the Wild West is part of our history, and the ranches are spread out and numerous to this day. It was this kind of spirit that made the ranches flourish. And the American spirit hasn’t fled yet. If you live in Montana, for example, you’re surely able to find plenty of Montana dude ranches that are near you. Finding one of these ranches is not the difficult part. It is convincing yourself that you deserve a break and a little excitement is what’s hard. Everyone just needs to get their priorities in order once in a while through the art of peace and quiet. Feeling healthy and in control of your life is a very important part of living.
So whether or not you’ve ever seen a horse in person, a ranch full of dudes and helpful hands could be just the vacation you’ve been looking for.

Campsites vary according to whether they are organised or whether they are simply somewhere you fancy spending the night. But there are some considerations that need to be taken into account before you commit to a camping site. Here the basics of choosing one are explored to ensure everyone picks the campsite that is just right for them.
Suitable campsites don’t grow on trees. One that will be suitable for some people and some tents, will not be suitable for all. However, there are some basics that you should be aware of before you set up your tents for the night.
A campsite means two things.First there is an organised campsite with facilities like running water, tilets & showers, and maybe even a shop and laundry. The bigger the site, the more facilities and the louder the night - so if you don’t like noise steer clear. You may find larger sites offer entertainment or a bar, and these can get noisy at night. If you like socialising this may suit you well, but if not a quieter campsite may be just what you need.
The second type of campsite that you will come across is a site that you choose to pitch your camping tents, which is not an organised campsite. This might be in a farmer’s field or open spot.If a field, you need to ask the farmer.Never assume you can pitch your tent without checking with the landowner first.
The more isolated the location, the less likely good water for boiling and drinking/washing is.Even if you have bottled water, keep water in mind.Don’t forget about the toilet arrangements.A pub nearby is handy, but don’t underestimate the need for toilets as well!
Flooding is an awful experience so avoid camping in valleys.Avoid camping next to water as rivers etc will attract insects, and canals and rivers may even have rats.
Taking all this into account, make choices that are right for you and you’ll have a successful and comfortable stay.
